Startitis is still on hold. I'm happily knitting away on the Hannah Hat from Pepperberry knits. I read the instructions wrong and somehow process 5" as 5 rows before decreasing for the crown. Silly me. I figured out my mistake pretty fast so I unraveled it and went back to work on endless rounds of circular stockinette. It's some of the best mindless knitting I've ever had mainly because it's cashmere. Never in my life have I wanted it to get cold so fast. I want to wear this hat and I'm determined to get it finished ASAP... just in case our traditional October heat waves are replaced by a sudden cold spell. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so there's hope.
Crazy busy September is almost finished, giving us sorta busy October. October is my favorite month. It should be self explanatory. When one says they love October at least in the Northern hemisphere you can imagine that they like crisp cool weather, changing leaves, apple cider, pumpkin bread, sheep festivals, knitting, and of course, Halloween. The above all applies to me for sure.
September is the dawn of my part of any year -the holiday season and October is right when all the fun gets started. I hope this October is full of knitting, apple picking, getting rid of stuff, spiced tea, naps and rain and maybe even a little knitting present for myself.
So here's my progress for the year!
