It's time to update for my year of projects again. I'm still focused on the Dahlia cardigan.

I really want to get the center back lace pattern done before I move on to anything else. I'm about 8 rounds from that.

When I don't have time to concentrate I go back to the Christmas Socks. I don't have to think at all then I'm knitting these.

I'm happily working on the heel. I might have this sock finished by the end of the week...

So once again the Shakespeare cardigan is languishing in the knitting bag along with the multnomah. Maybe I'll try to get those out this week.

Here are my projects for the year:

  • Christmas Socks #1 (45% done)
  • Christmas Socks #2
  • Christmas Socks #3
  • Christmas Socks #4
  • Multnomah Shawl (5% done)
  • Older Boy Cardigan
  • Younger Boy Cardigan
  • That Knitted Cuff Thing
  • Pepperberry Knits Hat
  • Mitered Block Blanket (90% done)
  • Shakespeare Cardigan (55% done)
  • Dahlia Cardigan (8% done)

As for home I'm watching after the little ones all by myself and the Spring weather means we're spending more time at the park. Last week we went to three different parks. It's hard with little kids to get the right park. I have a three year old and a 21 month old and they both have different needs. Little guy only just figured out how to walk and now wants to walk everywhere and all over the play structures, but he's too little to be able to run around them all by himself. The older guy is just old enough to disappear on you when you've turned your back for a second. Add to that the social aspect of the other parents and you've got a lot of work for this confessed introvert. I usually come home from the park totally exhausted. But that's ok, because the kids are totally exhausted too and they go to bed much more easily when they've spend an hour or two charging around the playground.
