It's Yarn Along again. Time to see what knitters are knitting and reading all around the interwebs. It's a great way to find new knitting blogs and get people to find yours too!! Click here to read all of our old yarn along posts. We've been doing this a while and you can see our progress on our knitting for almost the past year!
This week I'm looking forward to some dedicated knitting and writing time. I'm not quite there yet so I've been working on the Multnomah Shawl which is my go-to thoughtless knitting project. It is also my emergency knitting project that I bring with me everywhere in case I'm ever stuck waiting for something and need a distraction. This doesn't happen so much anymore. I don't need much distraction because I'm chasing small children everywhere I go, but very soon I will be able to relax and write and knit without any distraction. I need to wind a ball of sock yarn for my next pair of socks. I need to gather up all of the Dahlia cardigan stuff so that I can get back to work on that.
But for now, it's just me and the Multnomah Shawl and reading some stuff about teaching cooking to preschoolers. My kids aren't very big eaters. The older one has become a little more interested because I've been growing a vegetable garden. He actually put a piece of parsley in his mouth, so I thought that if I made cooking more fun he might want to eat what he cooks, so my MIL gave me this book on cooking with small children. Let's see how it works.
What are you knitting and reading these days?
